A BIG WIN IN 1974: CELEBRATING OUR 200,000TH CUSTOMER

As we celebrate 100 years of United Country Real Estate, we're highlighting some of the standout moments that reflect the heart of our company—and one of those moments happened in 1974.

That year, United Country reached a major milestone: our 200,000th property sale. To mark the occasion, Company President Norman McCain presented a special gift to the lucky buyers—Elizabeth Kenny and Mary Alice Lawson, owners of the Humpty Dumpty Nursery School in Fresno, California.

In recognition of the moment, the pair were handed the keys to a brand-new 1974 Ford Country Squire station wagon—a fitting celebration of both their purchase and the trust thousands of customers had placed in United Country over the decades.

This event wasn’t just a company celebration—it was a reflection of the real people, families, and communities at the center of our story. And it's those connections that have fueled our mission for the past 100 years.

From a station wagon in 1974 to today’s digital world, one thing hasn’t changed—our dedication to you. Discover our story at UnitedCountry.com.
